A new casting update for The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 confirms that two major characters from previous seasons will return. After the dramatic season 3 finale, which ended with Mickey Haller (played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) being arrested for murder, the upcoming season will follow him as he fights to clear his name. Given the high stakes, it’s no surprise that Neve Campbell is returning full-time as Mickey’s ex-wife, Maggie. But she’s not the only familiar face coming back.
According to Deadline, Elliott Gould will reprise his role as Mickey’s longtime mentor David “Legal” Siegel, while Krista Warner returns as Hayley Haller, Mickey’s daughter. In addition to these returning characters, season 4 will feature several new guest stars, including Emmanuelle Chriqui, Jason O’Mara, Javon Johnson, and chef Nancy Silverton, who will all appear in special guest roles

Chriqui, best known recently for Superman & Lois, will play Jeanine Ferrigno, the girlfriend of a gangster who ends up entangled in Mickey’s case. Her insider knowledge becomes crucial to his defense. O’Mara joins as Jack Gilroy, Maggie’s new boyfriend, a confident orthopedic surgeon who works with young athletes. Johnson takes on the role of Carter Gates, a reformed businessman with a troubled past who now finds himself accused of murder — a potential parallel to Mickey’s own situation. Lastly, Silverton will appear as herself in a cameo.
What These New Castings Mean for Season 4
This casting update follows earlier announcements that season 4 will also introduce Kyle Richards, Jason Butler Harner, Scott Lawrence, Sasha Alexander, and Constance Zimmer. Each has a distinct role in the story. Zimmer will play the prosecutor leading the case against Mickey, while Alexander portrays an FBI agent pressuring him. Richards is set to appear in scenes with Lorna (Becki Newton), offering more spotlight to the fan-favorite character.
