The latest Sofia Carson vehicle racked up more than 13 million views this week to remain at No. 1 on the English Films list for a third consecutive week. Looks like Alex can cross “having the No. 1 movie on Netflix three weeks in a row” off her list.
Looking to escape reality for a little while? Well, you’re in luck: Black Mirror made its long-awaited return, garnering more than 7 million views en route to No. 4 on the English TV list (Top 10 in 71 countries). Also in television, North of North (3 million views), Netflix’s first-ever Canadian original series, debuted at No. 9 on the English TV list and has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Set in the decidedly warmer climes of Miami, medical heartstopper Pulse got 8.5 million views this week — up 2 million over last week — and continues its reign in the No. 3 spot.
In non-English TV, How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)returned after four long years. When we last saw the show’s protagonist, Moritz Zimmerman, he was being dragged away in handcuffs. Now he’s back on our screens, and back in the Top 10. The series’ 2.1 million views this week is proof that there’s always an appetite for shows about wily drug kingpins.

And questions of paternity and identity abound inThe Dad Quest(9 million views), a feel-good road trip flick about a father and son who embark on a fact-finding mission across Mexico. Its strong debut places The Dad Quest atop the non-English film list.
