One of the top contenders on the 2025 Emmy drama race, HBO Max‘s breakout medical drama The Pitt, has firmed up its submissions.

In his role as star, writer and executive producer, Noah Wyle will contend in all three areas. He is up for Lead Actor In a Drama Series for his portrayal of Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, the dedicated senior attending physician at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital.

Wyle and series creator, executive producer and showrunner R. Scott Gemmill are The Pitt‘s two submissions in the Writing for a Drama Series category, while executive producer John Wells and Amanda Marsalis are up for Directing In a Drama Series.
